Designed as a retro-themed Tamil cinema theatre in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the project reimagines the nostalgia of classic South Indian cinema through a vibrant and engaging cinematic experience. Drawing from iconic visual motifs, vintage theatre traditions, and Tamil film culture, the design celebrates the enduring legacy of cinema while evoking a strong sense of memory and place. Although the project progressed through the concept and design development stages, it remained unrealized after the client discontinued engagement and the design services were left unpaid. Nonetheless, the project explores the intersection of culture, nostalgia, and entertainment through design.
